Rockfront Wines is born from the hard soil and ancient roots of Tsinklde, a rugged, rocky region tucked into the hills of Kvareli, Georgia. The word Tsinklde means "rockfront", and it captures the land we farm perfectly.

Our vineyards stretch across unique terrain, where harsh stone meets fertile earth. It's not easy land to work, but it produces powerful, distinctive grapes — especially Saperavi, one of Georgia's most iconic red varietals.
The balance of mineral-rich soil, sunlight, and the microclimate of Kvareli creates grapes with depth, character, and natural complexity.
8,000 years
Georgia is the birthplace of wine. Archaeologists have traced winemaking here back over 8,000 years. Long before France or Italy had vineyards, Georgians were fermenting grapes in qvevris, traditional clay vessels buried underground — a method we still respect today.
That history isn't just something we talk about. It runs in our blood. It's how we think about wine: not just as a product, but as a way of life.

Since 2007 we've been guided by a simple but powerful mission: to share Georgia's ancient winemaking heritage with the world. Rockfront began as a dream shared by childhood friends and one British partner who fell in love with Georgia. Today, it continues through generations, with our sons now helping carry the vision forward.
We grow our own grapes. We know every row, every vine. No shortcuts. No blending from unknown sources. Just real wine, from real land, made by people who care deeply about where it comes from and where it's going.
